SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ–In the second game of the GMC Hoops Freshmen, JV, and Varsity tripleheader, South Brunswick hosted East Brunswick in the JV Game of the Week. SBHS jumped out to a 10-3 lead at the 3:53 mark of the first period behind six points from sophomore Corey Lumpkin and four points from freshman Dontae Strickland, but EB’s defense clamped down while big man Mike Manne stepped up to help the Junior Bears put together a 34-18 surge the rest of the way for the 37-28 victory.
