EDISON, NJ–On Tuesday night, GMC Hoops traveled over to Edison High School after work to take in the second half of a White Division Clash between the Eagles and the Monroe Falcons. The Purple Birds trailed 33-24 at the half, but rallied in the final two periods with a 41-24 surge for a 65-57 win as Ryan Genevieve took over with 15 points including several threes in the final 10:11 of the contest while Nick Isola and Chuka Onukwugha (6 points in the fourth) added scores as well to fuel the comeback. After Edison scored the first four points of the second half, the Falcons went on a 28-14 tear over a span of nearly 12 minutes to take the lead at 52-51.
