Here are the video highlights from third seeded East Brunswick Bears 69-56 victory over 11th seeded Piscataway in the Greater Middlesex Conference Tournament Quarterfinals at Middlesex County College. The Bears fell behind 4-0 early, but then went on a 25-8 surge over the next 10:16 to take a 25-12 lead a little less than midway through the second period.
EB took a 37-21 lead late in the first half, but Piscataway would storm back with an 18-4 tear to pull within a basket. However, East Brunswick went 17 of 20 from the foul line in the fourth quarter to come away with the hard fought victory to advance to the Final Four for the first time since 2001. Rob Ukawuba led EB’s balanced attack with 11 points while reserve Danny Leung chipped in with 10. Greg Davis led P-Way with a game high 21 points.
