MONROE, NJ–On Wednesday night, GMC Hoops was back out at the Monroe Sports Center for the final two hours of games in the third week of action there. Three GMC teams were in action including J.F. Kennedy, which took on Central Group IV runner-up from last year, Colts Neck. The Cougars had a 35-27 lead with just under two minutes to go when Kennedy rallied with an 8-0 run sparked by the play of Darrin Perez and Kyle Alvarez. However, after the Mustangs tied it on a jumper by Perez with 11.3 seconds left, Colts Neck was fouled in the backcourt, and made both ends of the bonus to go ahead for good in a 37-35 victory.
