Here are some video highlights from Sayreville’s 35-0 victory over Old Bridge on opening night of the 2012 Greater Middlesex Conference football season at Lombardi Field in Old Bridge. The Bombers and the Knights were in a scoreless battle until early in the second when Sayreville intercepted an Old Bridge pass near midfield with less than 11 minutes to go in the first half. Moments later, Deon Miller scored on a touchdown run off a run to the left side of the field for a 7-0 lead. Miller added another touchdown late in the second period for a 14-0 lead before Zeke Perkinson and Myles Hartfield added scores in the third, and the Bombers finished the scoring with an early touchdown in the fourth for the shutout win.
