NORTH EDISON, NJ–On Wednesday night, GMC Hoops traveled over to the East Coast Conditioning Fall League to catch action from three games including one involving East Brunswick. The final two contests of the night were very good ones. One of them had Linden taking on Seton Hall Prep.
The Pirates jumped out to a 17-2 lead in the first half as Linden’s Quadri Moore went to the bench early with his second foul in the first period. However, Moore returned, and he made a big impact as he helped the Tigers not only get back in the game, but also take the lead late in the third quarter, and hold a six point advantage late in the fourth. Seton Hall Prep would respond though with an 11-2 tear to end the game including a three pointer from the left corner with 1:25 left to take the lead for good in a 48-45 victory. Below are some notes from the contest.
First Quarter
Seton Hall Prep jumps out to a 13-2 first quarter lead. Â The Pirates led 9-0 before Linden got on the board with a bucket at the 3:10 mark of the period. Â Quadri Moore went to the bench after SHP jumped out to a 2-0 lead. Â The Pirates have made their biggest impact at the foul line by going 7 of 8.
Second Quarter
7:52–SHP scored on two layups to take a 17-2 lead.
7:11–Linden gets on the board again with a jumper from the foul line for a 17-4 SHP lead.
3:55–Linden getting back into the game. Â Moore, back in contest, connects on jumper for a 21-16 SHP lead. Â Linden on a 12-4 tear.
1:24–Linden ties the game up at 21-21 on a three from left wing by Moore.
1:09–SHP–takes lead back at 23-21 on bucket.
56.3–Linden takes its first lead of the game at 24-23 on a three pointer by Moore.
Third Quarter
9:38–SHP takes lead back with two layups including one off a steal by Spencer Weisz for a 27-24 lead.
8:54–SHP–layup for a 29-24 lead.
4:55–LIN–rallies with a 5-2 run including a three point play by Moore for a 31-29 SHP lead.
2:32–LIN–timeout. Â SHP still leads 31-29. Â LIN blocks layup attempt by Wiesz following steal to keep the deficit at two.
1:47–LIN–Moore draws foul underneath, and makes both FTs  for a 31-31 tie.
1:21–SHP–scores on putback for a 33-31 lead.

Fourth Quarter
