South Plainfield Wins Second Straight At Immaculata Fall League

Tigers Hang On To Edge Hopewell Valley; Now 2-1 On The Fall

SOMERVILLE, NJ–On Sunday afternoon, South Plainfield won its second straight of the young fall season with a 41-40 victory over Hopewell Valley of the Colonial Valley Conference. The Tigers led 22-16 at the half before having to hang on after being outscored by the Bulldogs in the second half by the score of 24-19. Since losing their season opener, the Tigers have won two straight with a win two weeks ago over W.H. Warriors by the score of 49-22. South Plainfield, the only team from the Greater Middlesex Conference at the Immaculata Fall League, is now 2-1 on the fall.
