Metuchen Hosting Its Own Christmas Tourney
METUCHEN, NJ–On Monday morning, GMC Hoops received information from Metuchen boys basketball head coach, Jon Korellis on the first annual Bulldogs Holiday Tournament being held Christmas week at MHS. Over the past 12 years of GMC Hoops, Metuchen has competed in the Brearley Bear Classic, Roselle Park Tournament, and the Pepe/Levee Tournament.Â
Four teams are competing in the Bulldogs Holiday Tournament with each representing a different conference: Metuchen (Greater Middlesex Conference), Bernards (Skyland Conference), A.L. Johnson (Union County Conference), and Keyport (Shore Conference). The first round of the tourney will be held on December 27th and the final round on December 29th. Below is the schedule of games for the two days:

- Keyport vs. Metuchen, 4:00 PM
2012 Metuchen Bulldogs Holiday Tournament–Day Two–December 29th
- Consolation: Arthur L. Johnson-Bernards loser vs. Keyport-Metuchen loser, 12:00 PM
- Championship: Arthur L. Johnson-Bernards winner vs. Keyport-Metuchen winner, 2:00 PM
GMC Hoops plans to cover at least one game from this tournament.
