GMC Hoops Highlights–January 8, 2013–Old Bridge @ Piscataway–Red Division Clash

Here are video highlights from the 10:11 of the Red Division contest between Old Bridge and Piscataway from P-Way in early January 2013. The Knights led by 13 on a couple of occasions down the stretch including a 44-31 lead with 3:47 to go before the Chiefs rallied with a 12-4 run over a span of 2:01 to close within five at 48-43 with 1:46 to play. Elijah Murray-Tucker keyed the run with a three at the 3:16 mark, and then a steal for a layup at the 3:02 mark. However, Old Bridge wouldn’t let P-Way get any closer as Sultan Aminu scored off a lob pass from out of bounds at the 1:20 mark, and then Tyler Drews and Jordan Marrero combined to hit 5 of 6 free throws in the final 53.4 seconds to give the Knights a 55-43 win. Aminu ended up with 21 points while Drews chipped in with 19 for the winners. Jo Jo Hoover and Murray-Tucker each led Piscataway with 10 points.
