NEPTUNE, NJ–In one of the two games covered by GMC Hoops on Monday night, the Old Bridge Knights squared off against the Eagles of Middletown South and the Shore Conference. Old Bridge trailed 18-17 with 7:18 to go in the first half, but then went on a 14-2 tear the rest of the period to take a 31-20 lead at halftime. Then, in the second half, the Knights kept their foot on the gas by outscoring Middletown South by a margin of 32-22 to post their first win of the fall at the 2013 Hoop Group Headquarters Fall League by a score of 63-42. Below are some game notes from the contest:
