LINDEN, NJ–In the first game of the GMC Doubleheader that took place in the Linden Fall League at the Linden P.A.L. on Wednesday night, East Brunswick jumped out to a 31-13 lead by the time GMC Hoops arrived. Bridgewater tried to get back into the game with an 8-0 run over the next three minutes or so, but Carl Taylor drove in from the left side for a layup to end the third period with EB leading 33-21. Then in the fourth period, Gary Baumer sank two threes early on to give the Bears more breathing room at 41-25 before the Panthers closed the game with a 13-5 spurt for East Brunswick’s 46-38 victory.
