GMC Hoops Game Notes–East Brunswick vs. Bordentown–MSC Fall League–October 31, 2013

MONROE, NJ–On Thursday night, GMC Hoops traveled down to the Monroe Sports Center to take in action from the fall league there. East Brunswick was in action with back to back games during the 8:20 and 9:30 PM hours. In the first game, the Bears took on Bordentown of the Burlington County Scholastic League, and broke away from a 14-13 lead with a 25-6 tear over a span of about 13 minutes to take a 39-19 lead with just under 13 minutes to go. Bordentown then made a spirited comeback with a 33-15 surge over the next 12:35 to pull within two with 13.3 seconds left. Junior guard, Matt Perel saved the day though by making two free throws with 12.4 seconds left to seal the 56-52 victory. Below are some game notes from the contest.
