Mustangs Late Rally Falls Short Against Bordentown
MONROE, NJ–On Tuesday night, GMC Hoops took another trip down to Monroe to take in action from the first night of week seven of the MSC Fall League. One GMC teams was in action as J.F. Kennedy took on Bordentown from the Burlington County Scholastic League in the nightcap game. The Mustangs took a 7-0 lead to open the game, and led 17-11 late in the first half, but Bordentown rallied with an 11-6 spurt to trail only by one at the intermission. The game remained close until the last six or seven minutes when the Scotties went on a decisive 8-0 run to take a 42-34 lead. JFK rallied late with a 7-2 spurt that included a three at the buzzer, but time ran out. Below are the results from action on Tuesday night:
