Here is a slideshow from photos taken of the action from the varsity scrimmage between South Plainfield and Wardlaw-Hartridge on Thursday evening in North Edison. The Tigers had a 10-3 spurt to end the first period, and an 11-1 tear to end the second to turn a 4-2 first quarter deficit into a 27-10 halftime lead, and then played even with Wardlaw over the final two periods to win 45-32. Jordan Hankerson had 6 points during the first quarter run, and then 7 points during the second quarter run for South Plainfield to end up with 13 first half points while John Pohopin led Wardlaw with 22 points.
