Here are highlights from the second half of action in the non-conference clash between South Plainfield and Union Catholic. UC jumped out to a 46-29 halftime lead, and led by as many as 22 points in the second half before South Plainfield finished the game strong to lose 77-63. The Vikings of Union Catholic considered to be one of the contenders in Union County this year got a game high 25 points from Ashton Lofton, 19 points from Patrick School transfer Isaiah Still, and 16 points and 11 rebounds from Devine Eke. Chris Mathis led South Plainfield with 21 points.
