Here is a slideshow from photos taken of the action in the opening round game of the All Brunswick Classic between North Brunswick and East Brunswick at EBHS. Heavily favored East Brunswick got all it could handle from the upstart NBTHS Raiders. The Bears found a way to win though even without its top player, Amir Bell, who left the game in the first period. EB jumped out to a 7-0 lead with 5:01 left in the first period, but North Brunswick roared back behind the play of Eric Slade, Pranay Bhandare, and Adrian Colon to outscore the Bears 20-10 the rest of the half for a 20-17 lead. From there, the game was tight, especially in the fourth quarter when there were several ties down the stretch. Sophomore Matt Ross was the difference though. Filling in for Bell, Ross scored 15 points including 7 of 8 from the line in the fourth period to lift the Bears to a 43-42 victory.
