Here are highlights from the action in the GMC Gold Division contest between Dunellen and Timothy Christian on Friday evening. The Destroyers of Dunellen jumped out to a 13-1 late first quarter lead, but TCS responded with a 29-9 surge over the next quarter and a half including a 10-0 run early in the third period to take a 30-22 lead. The Tigers then led by as many as 10 points in the fourth quarter before withstanding a late rally by Dunellen for a 42-37 victory. Zach Coyle led Timothy Christian with a team high 12 points including a layup with 1:03 left to offset the late DHS rally. Jarret Locke chipped in with 10 points including two threes during the early third period spurt, and Brandon Summers also added 10 points. David Johnson led all scorers with a game high 15 points for Dunellen.
