Here are highlights of the action between J.P. Stevens and Woodbridge in a GMC White Division Clash at Woodbridge HS on the first Wednesday of February 2014. In this contest, both teams combined to shoot 35 of 46 from the line to account for nearly half of the scoring, the Barrons of WHS were able to hang on for the win (41-35). Woodbridge jumped out to a 16-2 lead as Stevens went without a field goal for the first 11:18 of the game. The Hawks didn’t give up though as they rallied to pull within one late in the fourth quarter before the Barrons managed to hang on to win the game by six. Freshman Quassim Glover led all scorers with a game high 18 points for Woodbridge including a tremendous 14 of 16 effort from the foul line. Teammate Zahneer Shuler chipped in with 10 points while Nick Dooley led J.P. Stevens with 12 points.
