GMC Hoops Highlights–March 31, 2014–GMCBCA Senior All-Star Game

Here are highlights of the action in the 2014 GMCBCA Senior All-Star Game at Woodbridge HS on the last day of March 2014. In a fast paced, high scoring game, Old Bridge’s Tyler Drews earned game MVP honors with 19 points including 5 threes to lead the White team to a 107-94 victory over the Black team. Leading 59-55 at the half, the White team opened the second half on a decisive 19-8 run for a 78-63 lead as Drews connected on three of his treys.

Jordan Lackey of Piscataway Tech chipped in with three monster dunks for the winners while Sky Harris led the Black team in defeat with a game high 22 points and 8 rebounds. Teammates Owen McLeod of Bishop Ahr and Marques Townes of St. Joseph’s chipped in with 19 and 17 points respectively in a losing cause. JFK’s Kyle Alvarez also scored in double figures for the Black Team with 12. White Team had two other players score in double figures including South Plainfield’s Chris Mathis with 12 points and Spotswood’s Jake Dadika with 10.
