Here are highlights of the action in the semifinal contest from the 2014 Kean University Spring League between Piscataway and Newark Central. After not scoring a field goal for the first 6 minutes or so of the contest, the Blue Devils got going offensively, which then fueled its pressure defense, and went on a 17-3 tear over a span of 10 minutes to take a 19-7 lead, and never trailed again en route to a 53-33 victory. Newark Central then went on to defeat St. Mary’s of Elizabeth in the Championship Game.
