Here are highlights from the final minutes of play between Sayreville and Perth Amboy Tech at the Rahway Summer League on the second Tuesday of July 2014. The first game in the GMC Hoops tripleheader at the 2014 Rahway Summer League was between two GMC teams: Sayreville and Perth Amboy Tech. Sayreville led 32-26 with under five minutes to play. Amboy Tech did have some chances to score, but went 0 of 5 from the foul line down stretch. Kyrie Byers missed a three attempt after the Patriots pulled to within four earlier on a layup. Mike Valentin put the game away with a layup at the 1:31 mark and two fts with 1:01 left. Zach Alessi then capped the game ending 6-0 run with two fts with 30 seconds left for the 38-28 win.
