GMC Hoops Highlights–December 3, 2014–Ramapo College @ Kean University–NJAC Clash

Here are highlights of photos taken from the action in Ramapo’s 72-68 victory over Kean in an early season NJAC Clash at Harwood Arena in Union, New Jersey. Behind the play of Harlem’s Ve’Shawn Polite (19 points), Chris Moseley (16 points), and Frank Nock (14 points), the Roadrunners of Ramapo College led by 15 on a couple of occasions including a 55-40 lead with 14:10 remaining.

However, the Cougars of Kean University, which had four different players score in double figures, rallied with a 26-10 surge over a span of 10:27 to take a 66-65 lead with 3:43 left on a three pointer from the right corner by Easton, Pennsylvania’s Lincoln Polley (14 points). Ramapo would prevail though as it closed out the 72-68 win with a 7-2 tear all on 7 of 8 free throws.

Former St. Joseph’s standout, Jimbo Long helped orchestrate the Ramapo offense with 7 points including two second half threes, 2 assists, a steal, and a rebound. Meanwhile, Spotswood’s Tom Soulias helped Kean in a losing cause with 9 points, 5 assists, 3 rebounds, and a steal. North Brunswick’s Emmanuel Omowole also chipped in for the Cougars with 5 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists, and a steal before fouling out with 1:20 remaining.
