Here is a slideshow of photos taken from the action in South Plainfield’s upset win over Sayreville at the Bomb Shelter on the first Saturday of 2015. In a back and forth game that saw 11 lead changes and 6 ties and neither team having a lead bigger than 7 points, South Plainfield got a game high 21 points from both Lamont Williams and Jordan Hankerson, and outscored Sayreville by a 20-10 margin in the fourth period for a 68-63 victory. Mike Valentin equaled Williams and Hankerson for game high with 21 of his own including five threes while Jehvye Floyd collected a triple double of 15 points, 16 rebounds, and 11 blocks. Sophomore Jayson DeMild added 12 points in a losing cause for the Bombers while Zach Alessi chipped in with 10. Devon Dabel chipped in for the Tigers with 9 points.
