PISCATAWAY, NJ–Prior to the start of the Red Division varsity clash between the Chiefs and 10th ranked Perth Amboy Panthers, GMC Hoops took in the 2nd half of the JV contest. Trailing 40-38 after three, Piscataway opened the fourth on a pivotal 10-2 run and led by as many as 10 before Amboy rallied to pull with four late. In the end though, the Junior Chiefs would prevail thanks to a 6-4 run to end the game for the 68-62 victory. Below are game notes from the 2nd half of action:

3:29–Injury timeout with PWay leading 57-50 after an 8-6 run including a three and two fts by Amboy. Technical foul called. Piscataway makes both fts for a 59-50 lead.
1:21–Piscataway calls timeout after Amboy makes a foul shot to cap an 8-3 rally to pull within four at 62-58.
56.6–Amboy timeout after PWay draws foul and makes both Fts for a 64-58 lead.
