Here are highlights from the 2nd half action between Perth Amboy and Piscataway in the GMC Hoops JV Game of the Week for Week 6. Tied at 29-29 at the half, Amboy and P-Way went back and forth a bit for the first 8 minutes of the second half with 3 lead changes and five ties as the Junior Panthers, led by junior big man Jesus Garcia and junior guard, Luis Rivera, outscored the Junior Chiefs 11-9 in the third for a 40-38 lead. In the fourth, however, Piscataway took over with a 10-2 spurt that included two three pointers to open the frame to take the lead for good at 48-42. The Junior Chiefs led by as many as 10 at 53-43 before Amboy put together a 15-9 rally to close within four late at 62-58, but P-Way held on for the 68-62 victory.
