NORTH EDISON, NJ–On Wednesday night, WCTC AM 1450 was at Bishop Ahr High School to cover the Blue Division Clash between the Trojans and Carteret. BGA jumped out to a 12-2 first quarter lead, but Carteret responded with a 15-2 tear to end the first half for a 19-16 lead at the break. Then in the third quarter, Ahr rallied with a 16-10 showing for a 32-29 lead, Andes by as many as five in the fourth before Carteret closed the game on a 10-0 run for a 40-35 victory. Jaquan Robertson led the Ramblers in the win with a game high 19 points including 15 in the 2nd half and 8 in the fourth quarter. Tom Weiler led Ahr in a losing cause with 14 points. First Quarter
Bishop Ahr jumped out to a 12-2 lead.
Second Quarter
4:00–BGA had a 14-4 lead. Carteret went on a 5-0 run thanks two a couple transition baskets for a 14-9 Trojans lead as BGA called a timeout.
0:00–Carteret leads 19-16 at the half thanks to a 15-2 tear that ended the 2nd period. Highlighting the run was a three by Amir Alford, a highlight reel putback dunk by Jemar Jordan, and a three by Brandon Gilder. Tom Weiler leads Ahr with 8 points, Pat Astarita has 6 and Anthony Abano chipped in with 2. Gilder led Carteret with 6 while Jaquan Robertson and Jemar Jordan chipped in with 4. Amir Alford added a three pointer and Vince Montgomery rounded out the Rambler scoring with 2.
Third Quarter
Bishop Ahr outscores Carteret by a margin of 16-10 in the third for a 32-29 lead. Jaquan Robertson led the Ramblers with 7 points in the frame.
Fourth Quarter
4:00—Carteret trails by five points, 35-30.
1:45—Score tied at 35-35. Ahr on a 19-16 run over the last 14:15 of the game.
1:38–Out of the timeout, Carteret turns the ball over.
1:17—Bishop Ahr calls a full timeout with the score tied at 35-35.
1:00—Jemar Jordan is fouled by Tom Weiler (3rd foul). Bishop Ahr calls a 30 second timeout. Carteret swiped a steal off an errant Ahr pass. Ramblers only 2 of 4 from the line at this point. Jordan misses first free throw. Makes the second for a 36-35 lead.
0:45—Brandon Gilder called for a blocking foul. Both teams have 6 team fouls.

0:23—Gilder dishes to Robertson for layup and a 38-35 lead.
0:02—BGA—Abano’s three from corner goes in and out. Robertson gets the rebound and is fouled. Ahr calls timeout. Carteret in bonus. Robertson makes the first free throw. Sinks the second for a 40-35 lead. Robertson finishes with 19 points including 15 in the second half and 8 in the fourth quarter.
