UNION, NJ–On Monday night, Sayreville resumed play at the 2015 Kean Spring League with an 8:00 PM contest against American History of Newark on Court #2. The Bombers scored the first five points of the game, and had a 12-10 lead near the midpoint of the first half, but then American History ended the half on a 23-12 surge over the last 12:33 to take a 33-24 advantage into the intermission, and led by as many as 14 early in the second half before Sayreville rallied with a 20-10 surge to pull within four on a Zach Alessi jumper with under two minutes to play. American History would hang on for the 55-45 victory though by scoring 7 of the last 8 points of the contest. Below are game notes from the action.
