UNION, NJ–During the 7:00 PM hour, J.P. Stevens finished up its day at the PM Session of the 2015 Ironman Challenge with a match-up against this year’s Morris County Tournament Champion, Mendham. Â The Hawks didn’t have their first lead of the game until early on in the second half, and trailed 26-22 with less than 10 minutes to play, but guard Alex Corrigan scored 7 straight points to help Stevens tie the game at 29-29 with under a minute to play, and then Mike Lionikis scored the game winning basket on a short jumper with 13.4 seconds to play in a 31-29 victory.
