In the final day of the regular season, South Brunswick took on the host, Ewing during the 8:00 PM hour. The Vikings, led by Eric Savage, Jaier Garret, Mike Ugarte, and a cast of others, gave Ewing all it could handle for a little over 30 minutes of the contest.
After tying the game at 49-49 on a coast to coast layup by Garrett with just over 9:30 remaining, South Brunswick went cold as it missed its next 6 shots from the field, and was limited to 5 points the rest of the way in a 64-54 loss. Deon Hale, who stood out in the Group 3 State Final overtime loss to Bergenfield at the RAC back in March, led the way for the Blue Devils in the win.
