J.P. Stevens Battles Its Way to the Championship
RAHWAY, NJ–On Friday evening, GMC Hoops traveled over to Rahway High School for playoff action in the 2015 Rahway Summer League. The top four teams qualified for the playoffs including three from the Greater Middlesex Conference: Carteret, J.P. Stevens, and Sayreville. The Hawks of J.P. Stevens, led by the likes of Mike Lionikis and Mike Katims, overcame an early 10-0 deficit to avenge a defeat earlier this summer to Sayreville and advance to the final, and then defeated the host school, Rahway in the Championship Game.
