Premier Event of the Fall Hoops Season Still Looking for Teams; Schedule to be Announced on October 20th
NEPTUNE, NJ–On Monday afternoon, GMC Hoops learned that the Hoop Group will be running its annual HGHQ Fall Showcase during the weekend of October 24th and 25th. According to the Hoop Group web site, the showcase is for high school basketball teams to test themselves prior to the official start of the season, which (believe it or not) is only a little over two months away.
This event provides an opportunity for high school teams to compete against top flight programs from all around the Northeastern United States. It also gives coaches an additonal chance to analyze how their teams are coming along in terms of not only the usual basketball strengths and weakeness, but also team chemistry and camaraderie. The HGHQ Fall Showcase also provides another opportunity for players to demonstrate their talent, skill, and ability in front of many NCAA Division II and Division III coaches.
