GMC Hoops Game Notes–J.F. Kennedy @ #9 Spotswood–Blue Division Clash–January 29, 2016

SPOTSWOOD, NJ–On Friday night, GMC Hoops traveled over to The SAC at Spotswood High School to see the 9th ranked Chargers take on J.F. Kennedy in a Blue Division Clash.

First Quarter

Spotswood takes a 22-20 first quarter lead on 4 field goals, 3 treys, and a perfect 5 of 5 from the line. Andrew Fuzesi and Eric Dadika led the Chargers with 6 each. Kennedy had 7 field goals and 2 threes. Pete Obertan led JFK with 16 points on 5 field goals and two threes.


Second Quarter

5:30–Arrive at Spotswood where JFK leads the Chargers 32-29 after this trey by Tamaj Coleman capped a 9-2 run.

2:50 left in the first half and Spotswood calls time after this Carlton Sears layup gives JFK a 36-30 lead.

3:11 left in the game and JFK leads 62-53 thanks to a traditional three point play by Kobie Wells.

2:23 left in the game and Spotswood calls time after a layup from the right side by Eric LaBella off a slick cross court pass by Eric Dadika for a 62-55 JFK lead.

29.5 seconds left in the game and Spotswood calls time after a trey from the left corner by Eric Labella closes the gap to 68-62.
