Sayreville Comes Up Short Against Newark Arts
UNION, NJ–On Monday night, GMC Hoops traveled up to Kean University’s Harwood Arena to take in some of the action from the 2016 Kean Spring League. Sayreville was involved in one of the three games played during the 7:00 PM hour against Newark Arts. The Bombers, playing without the likes of Ryan O’Leary, Elijah Clark, and Derek Astarita, trailed throughout the contest after Arts jumped out to a 13-2 lead. Sayreville did manage to get the lead down to single digits late, but it wasn’t enough as Arts won. Below are results from three of the games played on Monday night at Kean:

- Wallington 43–Barringer 2 41 OT
GMC Hoops did not attend any of the games on Wednesday due to a prior commitment, but does plan to see the games next Monday night when the opening round of the playoffs begin.
