Early Second Half Surge Propels OLV Past Jayhawks in 7th and 8th Action
SOUTH AMBOY, NJ–On Friday night, GMC Hoops wrapped up a busy 10 day stretch of 20 games with a trip to see the nightcap of the final day of week two action at the 2016 Raritan Bay Summer League being run at South Amboy Middle-High School. The game featured involved two teams from the 7th and 8th Grade Division, Our Lady of Victory from Sayreville and the Central Jersey Jayhawks.
Trailing by ten at the half, OLV put together a decisive 20-4 surge over the first seven and a half minutes of the second half to take control of the game, and went on to lead by as many as ten before winning by seven.
