RAHWAY, NJ–In the nightcap of the Tuesday evening quadrupleheader at the 2016 Rahway Summer League, Perth Amboy Tech of the GMC’s Gold Division took on Edison of the GMC White Division in a GMC crossover.
In a game where both teams struggled offensively throughout, Perth Amboy Tech held a 32-23 lead with 3:15 left before Edison rallied with a 9-2 run that included a layup at the 2:57 mark, and a three from the right corner with 2:15 to play by Justin Turner, to pull within two at 34-32 with under a minute to go.
Despite going 0 of 4 from the foul line in the last 23.4 seconds of the games, Perth Amboy Tech was able to hang on for a 34-32 victory. Below are game notes from the action:
