Carteret and Amboy Tech Come Up Winners at Rahway on Tuesday
RAHWAY, NJ–On Tuesday night, GMC Hoops traveled over to Rahway High School to see the last two games of the Tuesday evening quadrupleheader in the 2016 Rahway Summer League.
Both games involved GMC schools as Carteret took on J.F. Kennedy in GMC Blue match-up while Perth Amboy Tech battled Edison in a GMC crossover between the two-time defending Gold Division champions and a GMC White squad.
In the first game, Carteret led Kennedy by nine with just under six and a half minutes to go before the Mustangs rallied with a 7-0 spurt to pull within two, but couldn’t get over the hump as the Ramblers managed to hang on for the 10 point win.
Then, in the nightcap, Perth Amboy Tech led by as many as nine late in the second half, but had to hold off a late Edison rally to win by two. Below are the scores from both games:
