Four GMC Teams Competing in League at New Brunswick HS
NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ–On Thursday evening, GMC Hoops traveled over to New Brunswick High School to take in action at the 2016 Odie Page Summer League. The league is in its second year.
GMC Hoops received information on the teams competing in the league from new head coach and former Sayreville High School standout, Samir Sanu. There are eight teams in this year’s league with three of the schools having two squads participating. Four of the schools in the league are from the GMC. Below is the list of teams in the year’s league:

- Piscataway II
- South Brunswick
The league wrapped up regular season play this week with two of the games played at New Brunswick High School on Thursday night. GMC Hoops was there to cover both games and will be posting results shortly. South Brunswick and New Brunswick are tied for first place at 5-1 with New Brunswick defeating South Brunswick earlier in the season. Playoffs begin next week with the top five teams qualifying. Playoffs will be played at New Brunswick Middle School, or the old New Brunswick High School next week.
