GMC Hoops Game Notes–Timothy Christian vs. Jackson Memorial–MSC Fall League–October 6, 2016

MONROE, NJ–In the second game of the tripleheader at the 2016 Monroe Sports Center Fall League on Thursday night, Timothy Christian took on Jackson Memorial in a clash of small school versus big school. The Tigers and Jaguars went toe to toe for the first 10 minutes of the game, and kept things close for much of the first half.

Trailing 19-13 though with 9:18 left in the first half, Timothy Christian embarked on a 46-19 surge that included several threes from Robert Saydee, some layups and free throws from Will Clemmons, a triple from Pierce Kokosinski and a trey by A.J. Myha, and a couple of layups and a pair of free throws from Louis Roche for a 59-38 lead with just over two minutes to play.

Jackson Memorial, a Group 4 school, scored the final seven points of the contest to make the score respectable, but TCS still scored a very impressive, 59-45 victory. Below are game notes from the action:
