The Blue Jays jumped out to a 10-7 lead in the contest, but then Immaculata scored 9 unanswered points to take a 16-10 lead midway through the first half, and then finished the half on a 9-2 spurt to take a 44-34 lead. The Spartans continued to keep their foot on the pedal at the start of the second half by scoring 8 of the first 10 points for a 52-36 lead with 13:04 remaining, and cruised from there to a 63-46 victory. Chris Hendricks and Chris Spencer were bright spots in defeat for the Jays.
