Here are highlights from the action in the contest between J.P. Stevens and Sayreville at the 2015 Rahway Summer League. In the second game of a GMC Hoops tripleheader at Rahway High School, two GMC White teams were in action as J.P. Stevens took on Sayreville.
Led by a hot shooting Mike Lionikis, who scored 14 of the Hawks first 16 points and led Stevens to a 24-8 lead with 6:31 to go in the first half. However, the Bombers stepped up the defensive pressure over the rest of the game and outscored JPS by a two to one margin to come away with a 57-49 victory.
