Here is a slideshow of photos from the action in the second GMC Red Clash of the season between 6th ranked Old Bridge and 7th ranked East Brunswick. After a seesaw battle for much of the first period, and trailing 12-9 following a three point play by OB’s Stephen Strom, East Brunswick took control fwith an 8-0 run to close out the first quarter for a 17-12 lead.
Old Bridge scored the first 7 points of the second including a three by Strom to take a 19-17 lead, but the Bears quickly retook the lead, and finished the first half with an 18-6 tear for a 33-25 lead at the intermission. Old Bridge could never get closer than four points after that as East Brunswick won by a final score of 59-53.
Addis Ralph led the Bears with 14 points while Mike Brizuela added 12 and Matt Ross chipped in with 11. Strom led Old Bridge with 15 points while Kyle Parris chipped in with 12.
