Piscataway Trio Help Central Jersey Jammers Reach NJ State AAU Semifinals

PISCATAWAY, NJ–Last week, GMC Hoops received word from a source close to Piscataway High School Hoops that the Central Jersey Jammers were playing in the semifinals of the New Jersey State AAU Tournament thanks to a win in overtime back in the Quarterfinal round. Three players that figure to play a key role in Piscataway’s 2008-09 season made key contributions in the victory. Winning in overtime by two points, the Jammers got a team high 21 points from current junior Thomas Bennett along with 16 points from returning starter Tristian Benjamin, and 10 points from fellow junior Jeff Adkins. The Jammers were scheduled to play the NJ Panthers in the NJ 17U AAU Semifinals at Plainfield High School on Thursday night.
