METUCHEN, NJ–On Friday night, GMC Hoops learned that St. Joseph’s will be playing at the 2009 St. Pius X Christmas Classic in Atlanta, Georgia from December 26th to December 30th. The Falcons are one of eight teams from throughout the country including Georgia, Louisiana, Florida, and Ohio.
This is the tenth year of the event, which is designed to bring together Catholic Schools from across the country to compete in a three day tournament. Each team is guaranteed 3 games and other activities such as a dance, dinner, and either an NHL game, or an NBA game. Below are the eight teams competing in the tournament:
