LINDEN, NJ–On Sunday, GMC Hoops received word from Linden assistant basketball coach, Marty Luc, that there will be a referee camp to take place during both the 2008 Linden Team Camp and the 2008 Linden Summer League. The first session of the referee camp will occur during the entire duration of the Linden Team Camp during the days of June 16th through June 19th. Meanwhile, the second session will take place during the second week of the Linden Summer League from June 30th to July 3rd.
Making up the staff for this year’s referee camp is a who’s who of fine officiating:

- Bob Sanzo
- George Tyree
The Camp Director is Joe Caccavale, who also happens to be the Head Assigner of officials for the Watchung Conference, Iron Hills Conference, and Mountain Valley Conference. This is a multi-county camp, which covers leagues in Union, Morris, and Essex counties. The cost for the camp is $225.00 for each official including a $125.00 non-refundable deposit.
