LINDEN, NJ–To coincide with the unveiling of the summer league schedule, Linden High School has released the final schedule for the 2008 Linden Team Camp. On Thursday, Marty Luc, former Rahway head coach, and current Linden assistant coach, provided the finalized schedule for the upcoming 2008 Linden Team Camp. For the third year in a row, Linden will be running a basketball camp, which was created in the aftermath of the closing of the annual Kean Team Week in 2004. The team camp is scheduled to run from June 16th to June 19th, and will have a total of 16 teams competing in the team camp including three from the GMC: Colonia, J.F. Kennedy, and Middlesex.
The 16 teams will be split into two divisions of eight teams each including:
North Division
- St. Patrick’s
- Montgomery
- Elizabeth
- Colonia
- Union Catholic
- J.F. Kennedy
- Watchung Hills
- Wagner (Staten Island)
South Division
- Linden
- St. Mary’s (Elizabeth)
- Immaculata
- North Hunterdon
- Hillsborough
- Raritan
- Weequahic
- Middlesex
Games will take place at 5:00 PM, 6:00 PM, 7:00 PM, and 8:00 PM at either Linden High School, or Soehl Middle School for teams in the South Division, and the Linden P.A.L, or McManus Middle School for squads in the North Division. Crossover games will take place on the final day of action, June 19th. GMC Hoops plans to be at some of the action over the final two days.
