SOUTH AMBOY, NJ–On Tuesday night, July 15th, the eighth week of action continued at the 2008 Raritan Bay Summer League in the air conditioned confines of South Amboy Middle/High School. Like it has been most of the summer, there was a full slate of four games starting at 5:30 PM, and continuing at 6:30 PM and 7:30 PM before wrapping up with the finale at 8:30 PM. GMC Hoops did not attend any of the action in this league since it was at Middlesex County College Summer League and the TBSA Summer League to cover action there. Below are the results from Tuesday night’s action thanks to Tom Reilly, who helps run the league:
- Colts Neck 30–St. Stan’s 19–3rd and 4th Grade Division
- Sayreville Knights 31–Metuche 27–7th and 8th Grade Division
- Franklin 38–CJEOTO 33–5th and 6th Grade Division
- Matawan 52–Parlin 38–7th and 8th Grade Division
GMC Hoops hopes to catch some action from this league later this week. Raritan Bay will not have any games the following week, and will resume play on July 28th.
