SOUTH AMBOY, NJ–On Monday night, July 14th, the eighth week of action commenced at the 2008 Raritan Bay Summer League in the air conditioned, South Amboy Middle/High School. Like it has been most of the summer, there was a full slate of four games starting at 5:30 PM, and continuing at 6:30 PM and 7:30 PM before wrapping up with the finale at 8:30 PM. GMC Hoops did not attend any of the action in this league since it took a well deserved day off. Below are the results from Monday night’s action thanks to Tom Reilly, who helps run the league:
- Colts Neck 41–Monroe 18–3rd and 4th Grade Division
- Metuchen 21–St. Ambrose 17–7th and 8th Grade Division
- Union Catholic 42–Corpus Christi 30–High School Division
- Monroe over Metuchen–5th and 6th Grade Division
GMC Hoops hopes to catch some action from this league later this week. Raritan Bay will not have any games the following week, and will resume play on July 28th.
