2010 Immaculata Fall League–Week Six–Some Results–October 24, 2010

SOMERVILLE, NJ–On Sunday night, GMC Hoops returned to Immaculata to take in some of the action from the sixth night of the 2010 annual Immaculata Fall League. The site saw two of the five games played at IHS, and both involved GMC teams. The GMC split the contests that we saw. Below are the results from the two contests:

2010 Immaculata Fall League–Week Six–Some Results

  • St. Joseph’s-White 56–Immaculata 42–Sophomore guard, Jimbo Long led the Falcons with a team high 19 points on 6 of 13 shooting including 4 of 6 from beyond the arc, and made all 3 of his free throws while also collecting 5 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 steals in the victory. Junior Quenton DeCosey chipped in 15 points on 3 of 7 FG and 9 of 13 from the line while also collecting 8 rebounds, 3 assists, a steal, and a block. James Ziemba (8 of 8 FTs) and Danny Brix added 10 points each while Ziemba had 7 rebounds and Brix grabbed 4 boards. As a team, St. Joe’s was 5 of 9 from beyond the arc, and 21 of 26 from the foul line in the victory. The Falcons also scored 14 points off of 12 Immaculata turnovers. Luke Best led the Spartans with a team high 16 points and 3 rebounds.
