NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ–On Wednesday, GMC Hoops received information from New Brunswick Head Coach, Antoine Allen that the 2010 Brunswick Classic will be held on Wednesday, December 29th and Thursday, December 30th at New Brunswick High School and New Brunswick Middle School. This includes Freshmen and Junior Varsity tournaments. The following teams will be competing in this year’s tournament: East Brunswick, New Brunswick, North Brunswick, and South Brunswick. Below is the schedule for the varsity opening and final, junior varsity opening and final, and freshmen opening and final rounds:

2010 Brunswick Classic Varsity Holiday Tournament–Opening Round–December 29th

  • North Brunswick vs. South Brunswick, 2:00 PM–New Brunswick High School
  • East Brunswick vs. New Brunswick, 3:30 PM–New Brunswick High School

2010 Brunswick Classic Varsity Holiday Tournament–Final Round–December 30th

  • Varsity Consolation, 2:00 PM–New Brunswick High School
  • Varsity Championship, 3:30 PM–New Brunswick High School

2010 Brunswick Classic Junior Varsity Holiday Tournament–Opening Round–December 29th

  • North Brunswick vs. South Brunswick, 11:00 AM–New Brunswick High School
  • East Brunswick vs. New Brunswick, 12:30 PM–New Brunswick High School

2010 Brunswick Classic Junior Varsity Holiday Tournament–Final Round–December 30th

  • Junior Varsity Consolation, 11:30 AM–New Brunswick Middle School
  • Junior Varsity Championship, 12:30 PM–New Brunswick High School

2010 Brunswick Classic Freshmen Boys Holiday Tournament–Final Round–December 30th

  • Freshmen Boys Championship, 11:00 AM–New Brunswick High School

New Brunswick Middle School is located on Livingston Ave. GMC Hoops will try to catch at least one of the games from this tournament. The brackets for all three tourneys will be posted soon on bracketmaker.com.
