Barrons Drop Fourth Straight By Losing To Knights In Seventh Place Game At Buc Classic

RED BANK, NJ–On Sunday morning, two old Red Division foes went at it in the Seventh Place consolation game of the Buc Holiday Classic at Red Bank High School. Woodbridge, which is now in the GMC White Division took on Old Bridge, and the Knights surprised the Barrons with a 54-49 upset. Woodbridge, which lost all three of their games in this holiday tournament, has lost four straight since knocking off then second ranked Cardinal McCarrick in their season opener. The Barrons had lost to Shore Regional on Friday. Meanwhile, Old Bridge, which was coming off a 59-24 loss to Roselle in the other consolation game on Friday, is now 2-0 against Woodbridge Township schools. Ten days ago, the Knights knocked off then sixth ranked Colonia at home 43-40. OBHS is now 2-4 on the season while Woodbridge is 1-4.
